The mountain rises above the Central Asian town of Kadamzhay and is called Kitovka in Russian. The mountain was dubbed Kitovka by Russian settlers in the second half of the 20th century, when Kyrgyzstan was part of the USSR.
The sun sets on the opposite side of Mt Kitovka.
These pictures were taken yesterday late in the evening. The first photo was made by me and the second by my junior brother’s wife, she used her own camera.
This great cloudy sky was photographed on September 11th, 2012.
All of the three summer sunset photographs were taken in July, 2012, the first one was taken on my brothers’ way from Moscow to Vyazma. The other two were made in Vyazma itself.
