This scenery was photographed on April 22, 2015. It’s the old Russian cemetery above an industrial (in the past) town in the southwestern part of Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia. The town is called Kadamjay (Kadamzhay), also known as Pulgon, 30 kilometers south of an ancient Uzbek city called Fergana (Fargona).
The town of Vyazma is an important railroad junction between Moscow and the rest of Europe. I live in this town and here are four pictures which I took on August 1st this year, that is 12 days ago, as I was seeing my brother off on the train to Moscow.
These days people travel a lot, like never before, thanks to modern ways of transportation which include trains, airplanes and cars. Our ability to travel today depends only on money and our own aspiration for travel.
Also, there are many potential travelers who just do not know where to go.
Today I’d like to give my readers advice on where to go in Russia, in case they are interested in taking photographs of old churches and other architecture of the past.
One of such places is the town of Velikiy Ustyug (The Great Mouth of the South River), that is situated in North-Western part of Russia. Here are four photos taken in that ancient Russian town:
The day before yesterday I went shopping and made some photographs along the way while going through the rural part of the distance. That day was very bright and sunny, as you can see looking at these photos.
